How are the Hackathon teams formed?
Teams are assigned by random draw on the first day of the Hackathon. This ensures a balanced and random distribution of participants, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and encouraging creative problem-solving.
Will accommodation be provided?
No, accommodation will not be provided. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation as well as their travel to and from the event.
Will food and refreshments be provided?
Yes, meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. If you have any special dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian or vegan), please indicate them in the registration form.
Is attendance mandatory?
Yes, participants are expected to attend the Makerthon for its entire duration to ensure effective teamwork. Any exceptions (e.g., due to illness) must be communicated as early as possible.
Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes, bringing your own laptop is recommended so that you can actively participate in your team’s work, such as preparing presentations, conducting research, and completing other project-related tasks.
